Istanbul based artist, Mina Karwanchi, has been honing her skills in pottery since 2005. An architect as her profession, Mina blended her passion for pottery with landscape composition to bring about the perfect balance between striking patterns and soft emotions in her artwork.
Minas artwork is inspired by the environment she was brought up in, Gothenburg Sweden, where Scandinavian minimalism is ever present in her work. After finishing her studies, she continued to perfect her pottery technique in eastern China for several years. Her most recent work – Deep down in the ocean – is a homage to our increasingly vulnerable oceans.
