Gökşen Buğra, one of the writers of Lebriz, will hold a workshop on “Critical Reading and Writing Forms” on Monday, December 26, 2011, between 17:30-19:00 at GALLERY/MİZ.
In the workshop, which aims to gain a new perspective on reading and writing skills by seeing the subtleties of critical writing by analyzing texts under the titles of “Rhetoric”, “Theory” and “Practice”, the texts selected by Buğran will be read together with the participants and questions will be asked to the texts, in this way, the consistency of the expressions will be measured; in fact, the exclusion and falsity of the style, which is taken as the language of art, will be discussed. On the other hand, good examples will also be read that can tell what they say with simple, plain expressions without veiling and do not distance themselves from the reader.
Gökşen Buğra received her BA in Comparative Literature from Osmangazi University and her MA in Turkish Literature from Bilkent University. She continues to publish art and literary criticism and to work in the fields of cultural management and media.
