Founded in 2011 with the aim of expanding the boundaries of artistic expression by fostering interdisciplinary dialogues within Turkey’s established cultural ecosystem, Galeri / Miz is pleased to present the eleventh edition of its annual special exhibition series under the title Miz Volume.
Taking place between July 8 and August 8, 2025, “Miz Volume 11: In Unity” brings together works by Aslı Işıksal, Aslı Sağlam, Aşkın Akman, Belmin Pilevneli, Deniz Say, Dilara Pak, Emre Efe, Handan Akarsu, Kardelen Erken, Kemal Köse, and Zeynep Erol, each shaped through distinct creative processes and realized through diverse materials and techniques.
The title “In Unity” conveys multiple modes of existence, layered encounters, and the collective presence of the participating artists within the context of this exhibition. Through works encompassing painting, photography, sculpture, print, found materials, and embroidery, the exhibition explores the tensions and possibilities of co-existence across dichotomies such as the natural and the artificial, past and present, human and nature, and individual and collective memory.
