{"id":2117,"date":"2024-07-11T15:08:16","date_gmt":"2024-07-11T12:08:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/galerimiz.com\/sergi\/miz-volume-10\/"},"modified":"2024-07-13T13:57:58","modified_gmt":"2024-07-13T10:57:58","slug":"miz-volume-10","status":"publish","type":"sergi","link":"https:\/\/galerimiz.com\/en\/exhibition\/miz-volume-10\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Miz Vol:10&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Established in 2011 with the aim of becoming a national and international platform for contemporary art within Turkey&#8217;s established cultural ecosystem, Gallery \/ Miz has launched its curated exhibition series titled &#8220;Miz Volume.&#8221; This special selection, known for showcasing a diverse range of contemporary artworks, will be open to the public from July 17 to August 24, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMiz Volume 10\u201d; It brings together the works of A\u015fk\u0131n Akman, Belmin Pilevneli, \u00c7a\u011fda\u015f Er\u00e7elik, Damla Yal\u00e7\u0131n, Loya Kader \u00d6zt\u00fcrkmen, Murat Berk\u00f6z, and Tifak Arslan, produced with different techniques and materials through different creative processes.<\/p>\n<p>In this group exhibition, Gallery \/ Miz, which supports versatile and interdisciplinary works, showcases A\u015fk\u0131n Akman&#8217;s canvases where fragmented and whole forms merge with different materials to depict geometric, organic, and serendipitous portrayals of hope and sorrow in nature. The exhibition also features Belmin Pilevneli&#8217;s compositions, inspired by nature and created using traditional techniques to give dimension to paper through organic, amorphous, and cyclical forms. Additionally, \u00c7a\u011fda\u015f Er\u00e7elik&#8217;s sculptures, which question traditional and societal norms for a better world, are presented.<\/p>\n<p>In the exhibition, opening on July 17th, Damla Yal\u00e7\u0131n presents embroidered hoop surfaces that embody a phenomenological approach to personal memory and the intrinsic value of interior spaces. Loya Kader T\u00fcrkmen contributes works depicting Istanbul segments created with various materials and techniques.
