“No one asked my opinion. However, I was neither ready to be a girl nor a boy. Maybe I wanted to be a caterpillar, I don’t know…” Ayşe Topçuoğulları, who describes her exhibition with these sentences, depicts the figures of children, the heroes of their own imagination, in different movements. While presenting the most innocent forms of joy and sadness to the viewer in various compositions, he takes a moment away from the real world and presents a wonderland on canvas where only goodness prevails.
