Born in Ankara in 1964, he currently lives and works in Istanbul. After graduating from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ), he trained in the studio of Prof. Dr. Teymur Rzayev, an Azerbaijani State Artist and honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts. In 2013, he began his studies in painting at Yeditepe University’s Faculty of Fine Arts and graduated with a master’s degree from the same university in 2021.

He held his first solo exhibition in 2018 and his second solo exhibition in 2020 at Galeri/MİZ in Istanbul. In 2020, he participated in Step/Istanbul, in 2021 at Contemporary Istanbul Art Fair, and in 2023 at Art on Paper New York Art Fair, all as an artist represented by the same gallery.
